1. How We Use Your Information

We may request and store information about you in connection with the Service, including any information you transmit to or through the Service. We use that information to provide the Service’s functionality, fulfil your requests and improve the Service’s quality, personalise your experience and track usage of the Service, provide customer support, message you, back up our systems, allow for disaster recovery, enhance the security of the Service and comply with legal obligations. Even when we do not retain such information, it still must be transmitted to our servers initially and stored long enough to process.

Please note:

a.  Account Information: If you create a 5050cafefriends account, we may store and use the information you provide during that process, such as your first name, email address, suburb, Country, IP address and other information you may provide with your account, such as your gender and year of birth. We may publicly display your first name and your photo and or vlog you submit through the registration process as part of your account profile. You can modify some of the information associated with your account through your profile settings. If you believe that someone has created an unauthorised account depiction of you or your likeness you can contact us and request it be removed.

b.  Public Content: Your contributions to the Service are intended for public consumption and are therefore viewable by the public, including your photos, vlogs, profile but not your private messages. Your account profile e.g., first name, suburb, city, latest registrations, profile photos and vlogs, last online, who’s viewed my profile, favourites and your interests, who’s online, and the 5050 Verified Badge are also intended for public consumption. 

c. Communications:  When you register or use certain features, you are opting to receive messages from other Users and 5050. Messages you send or receive from other Users through the Service remain private, but may be stored in order to process and deliver them and in order to allow you to manage them. Messages between members are private and only accessible to yourself and your intended recipient. However, the 5050 website reserves the right to edit/add/delete About Me information of any user that violates 5050 Terms and Conditions.

d. Different Devices: You may access the Service through different devices (e.g.. mobile phone, tablet or desktop computer). 

e. Other Information: If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on 5050, we may collect such information into a file specific to you. This information will not be provided to other members or non-authorised parties.

We use cookies to store relevant data to help create a more personalised experience of the Service. Cookies may have unique identifiers, and reside, among other places, on your computer or mobile device. Cookies may transmit information about you and your use of the Service, such as IP address. We do not disclose any personal data such as email, gender or name to any third parties whatsoever except to improve our Service or where there is a legal obligation to do so:

a. Photos & Vlogs: Your profile photo and other photos and/or vlog is checked manually by our team for the purposes of detecting and rejecting obscene images or non-human images, levels of nudity and images or vlogs containing children. 

b.  Legal: We may disclose the information you provide to a legal or law enforcement entity, if we have a good faith belief that such a disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal procedure.

4. Controlling Your Personal Data

a. Personal Profile:  Email addresses are never revealed to other Users on the website and they are used only for the purposes of sending and receiving messages from the website. User information contained in a Users profile such as interests, photos, vlog, About Me, location, suburb, can be controlled/edited by the User. 

b. Notifications:  All notifications can be seen on the website, but a User may choose to control notifications sent by email by going to Settings on their Profile page. Notifications such as Profile View, Email, Hi's, Messages and 5050 Coffee, Members Who Share My Interests and Members From My Area can be controlled by the User by going to Settings on the Profile page and saving Notification changes.

c. Photos:  A User may upload 3 extra photos to their profile and also choose to use one of these as their profile photo. A User may also choose to remove all of their photos.

d. Vlog:  A User may choose or choose not to upload a vlog by upgrading to Bestie which is then accessible by other Users registered as a Bestie on the 5050 website. When a vlog is present, the 5050 V badge will display on a Users profile photo. 

e. Control of Your Password: You are responsible for all actions taken with your 5050 membership, email address and password. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your 5050 password to any third parties. If you choose to share your email address and password or your information with third parties, you are responsible for all actions taken with this information and therefore you should review that third party's privacy policy.  

5. Data Retention and Account Information

A Users information is stored only for the duration of their account. A User may choose to cancel their account and remove all their information from the 5050 website, this would also remove any information stored on the database. Or, a User can choose to stop payments on the website for an indefinite period (auto-renew) but remain on the 5050 website by going to the 'Payment' page in their Settings and choosing to switch the auto-renew to the off position. A User may also choose to deactivate their account, which would hide their profile from view, but can reactivate their account at any time if they choose this action. All registered Users can cancel their account at any time. 

6.  Individuals Under 18 Years of Age

The Service is intended for individuals 18 years and over. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 years to register on the 5050 website. If you become aware that individuals under 18 years of age have registered on the 5050 website, please contact us via our Contact form.

7.  Security

a. Secure Socket Layer:  The 5050 website uses Strong SHA-2 & 2048-bit encryption and displays the green lock in the browser address bar which indicates that the website is protected by a trusted SSL Certificate.  The SSL Certificate displayed in the browser address bar validates the 5050 website's identity, and encrypts messages sent from or received by the 5050 website. This keeps cybercrooks from spying on any exchange between the 5050 website and its Users. 

b. Payment Processing:  Some parts of the 5050 website are only accessible to members who have a paid membership. Memberships can be made by using your credit/debit card. Your credit card information is encrypted using SSL we do not store credit card details. If you choose to make recurring credit card payments, your credit card details are stored securely by Stripe the internet payment processor used by the 5050 website.
